I hope that through my work in the finance department, all staff members will be, and feel well supported to deliver on expectations of their jobs, and that this will be seen in the success rates of the various programs ran by TICAH. My contribution as an accountant will enable the ‘last user’ who are the community members TICAH engages through different programs have access to information, resources and life-changing attributes for the good of the individual and community as a whole.

I love the support, collaboration and camaraderie among staff members. This translates visibly in TICAH’s work with and in various communities in which the organization engages. TICAH’s external stakeholders are treated with the same degree of respect, support and care.
Share a little about your professional background.
I’m a professional accountant with 10+ years of experience in the field. I’ve worked in both the profit-making sector and not for profit, in Kenya and across several African countries, and the UAE. These diverse experiences have enriched my view of what it means to be a professional accountant.
Who (living or dead) would you like to have dinner with and why?
I’d love to have dinner with Benjamin Graham, who was the key influence over great investment minds like Warren Buffet and others. I’m not and investment professional, however, I’ve recently become intrigued by all things ‘investment, risk and returns,’ so who better to learn from than the G.O.A.T!
