What do you do at TICAH?
I manage TICAH’s sites at the National Museum of Kenya. I take care of the Medicine Shield Garden, Peace Path Labyrinth and the River Shrine Sculpture. I’m also an herbalist and facilitator of plant medicine.
What do you hope your work will do for the community you work with?
I hope to enlighten the public on how they can manage common illnesses, boost immunity and live healthy by using locally available herbal plants in their surroundings.
What do you love about TICAH?
I love the union of the staff members and freedom to assist anybody anywhere anytime. I love the work environment that’s full of love and joy.
Share a little about your professional background
I am an herbal practitioner and a traditional medicine doctor who has been doing research on plants that can treat common illnesses.
What is your favourite food?
I love the wild meat roasted and dried in the sun called "ALIA" in my mother language.
