I work in TICAH as the Programme Manager - Advocacy. in the Department of Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights
What do you hope your work will do for the community you work with?
I hope that the communities we work with will be able to have an enabling environment where they can access quality and comprehensive SRHR services and information. I am also hoping that they will be able to have the agency to voice and take leadership in demanding for better RH policies and laws both at the County and National level.
What do you love about TICAH?
I love the idea of listening and co-creation with communities that we work with, the organisation has a wonderful working environment that promotes learning and sharing among peers.
Share a little about your professional background.
I am an accomplished, detail oriented and team driven person with over 15 years experience in SRHR programming. My experience entails project designing, planning and implementation. I have a track record in fundraising and SRHR policy influencing through advocacy at that national and county level of governance. I am also a trainer and facilitator of Comprehensive Sexuality Education and Meaningful youth engagement among other things. I hold a masters degree in Community Development.
