What do you do at TICAH?
My role as Head of Partnerships at TICAH is all about building relationships and engaging with like-minded partners to move our efforts forward, mobilize resources and deliver on our mission.
What do you hope your work will do for the community you work with?
I hope that my work enables our team to continue to engage with communities and partners to co-create solutions to fully realize everyone's right to a fulfilled, healthy, and just life.

I love TICAH's activist spirit, our bold mission and how committed our entire team is to the work we do.
Share a little about your professional background.
I have been working in program development, program management and fundraising at various organizations in East Africa focused primarily on Kenya but also Uganda and Somalia. I have previously worked in research on gender equity, and my academic background is in anthropology and global health. I believe in the power of connections, of working together and sharing resources and information, which drives me in all aspects of my work.
What is your favorite food?
Assuming coffee doesn't count as food, my favorite food is probably a fresh croissant.
Who (living or dead) would you like to have dinner with and why?
I'd love to have dinner with the writer Ocean Vuong because his writing has inspired me in so many ways.
How do you spend your free time?
I am part of Kenya's largest association of female motorbikers, I love weightlifting and imagining new worlds through writing fiction.
