TICAH brought eight elders from different cultures in East Africa together: the Baganda from Uganda, Luo and Maasai from Kenya.
The elders were welcomed to the Labyrinth by the Kibera Women’s Peace Choir.
They performed blessings using art and artefacts to symbolise the connections and unity between our cultures. Each item had some spiritual significance.
Walking in the Labyrinth gave us time to think about how we can live together in harmony.
