Finishing a musical about an interracial relationship in Kenya
Pani Puri is a new musical set in Mombasa at an Indian wedding that highlights some of the deep-seated issues within the Indian-Kenya community and issues of racism and classism. The Braid Fund will enable the three intergenerational and inter-disciplinary collaborators to complete the final book and lyrics.
