Theme: “Small Islands and Climate Change”
The representatives of different institutions gave speeches reminding each person to exercise their social responsibility in caring for the environment.
The participants had the chance to visit Medicinal Shield Garden, Kaya ya Mto and Peace Path a place that represent our unity in diversity. Through performing and creative art the message was clear; we conserve Mother Nature or Mother Nature will turn against us.
The event was in partnership with the National Museum of Kenya, Zetech College, African Biodiversity Conservation and Innovation Center. Participants came from the institutions that TICAH work with; Nairobi University, Kenyatta University, Moi University, Tangaza College, Christ the King youth group- Kibera, 3 primary and 4 secondary schools from Nairobi and Kajiado.
