THIS WILL LAST A FAMILY OF 4 A MONTH.
Maize (¼ kg); finger millet (2 kg); groundnuts (¼ kg);
millet (¼ kg); mukombi (½ kg); mawele (¼ kg); cassava (¼ kg); njahi (¼ kg);
wheat (½ kg); greengrams (¼ kg); sesame (¼ kg); njugu mawe (¼ kg)
Pre-roast the njahi, groundnuts, greengrams, sesame and njugu mawe.
Then mix these with the rest of the ingredients and take them
to be ground at a posho mill. Then prepare as normal porridge,
boiling until the foam disappears, and serve.
