10 bananas (nyaluo or nyakwimbi); salt to taste; ¼ kg groundnuts;
2 glasses water; 2-3 tbsp soya powder.
Peel the bananas and cut into pieces. Place them in a sufuria,
add salt to taste, then boil until soft. Cook as ugali.
Roast the groundnuts and then crush until powdery. Add 2 glasses of water
and mix together until it becomes like uji. Add salt to taste then heat and bring to the boil. Then add soya powder and continue stirring. Add water to reach
the consistency you like. Serve with the banana ugali.
